Brantstock – Music for a Grateful Heart is an annual music festival that began in 2022 as a heartfelt way to honor the life of Branton “Buddy” Ramsey. Founded by his parents, Donna and James Davis, the event celebrates Branton’s love of music while giving back to the community.

Music was more than a hobby for Branton—it was a passion. As a drummer, he found joy, expression, and connection through every beat. Because of that passion, Brantstock was created to bring the community together in his memory.

What started as a one-night event has since grown. Today, Brantstock is an annual, multi-night music festival held each fall across the River Valley. It features a diverse lineup of local bands spanning multiple genres, creating an atmosphere that is both meaningful and memorable.

Over the first four years, all Brantstock proceeds have funded the Branton “Buddy” Ramsey Memorial Scholarship at Carl Albert State College. As a result, students have received support to pursue their education and future goals.

Beginning in 2026, as an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Branton Ramsey Legacy Foundation continues to expand its impact through Brantstock. While proceeds will still fund the scholarship, they also support additional programs across the foundation. For example, current initiatives include Teens Teach Tech, which helps bridge the digital divide.

As Brantstock continues to grow, so does its vision. In addition, the Branton Ramsey Legacy Foundation is committed to expanding its reach and deepening its impact through new programs and partnerships. The Board of Directors is actively developing future programs centered on MAGIC—Music, Art, Gaming, IT, and Career Development. Future initiatives will continue to focus on empowering youth through innovation, creativity, and career readiness, ensuring that every dollar raised creates meaningful, lasting change.

Ultimately, Brantstock is more than a music festival. It is a celebration of life, a source of opportunity, and a lasting legacy of love and purpose.
